thrive at work pricing: how it is priced and what is included

thrive at work does not publish a price list. The price is set by how many employees are invited, plus any services chosen on top. Exact figures come in a written proposal.

What sets the price

  1. Number of employees invited. This is the main driver. It counts employees invited and entitled to use the platform, not how many respond.
  2. A platform component. Part of the annual subscription, not a separate charge.
  3. A per-employee rate that falls as headcount grows. Each band of employees is priced at its own rate, so the first employees cost more per head than the ten-thousandth.
  4. A minimum. Small populations pay a minimum annual subscription.
  5. Setup and service level. Larger organizations get more hands-on setup and support. This is a difference in service, not in product.
  6. Contract length. Multi-year terms carry a term discount in exchange for a firm commitment.

What every customer gets

The same platform at every size. Nothing below is held back for a higher tier:

  • the thrive employee survey™ for every invited employee, each cycle
  • capacity and engagement results, with the thrive index™ and thrive matrix™
  • comparison with a relevant workforce
  • each employee's private dashboard and results
  • a personalized video library matched to each person's results
  • thrive academy™ access
  • manager action plans and playbooks
  • reporting for HR and executives
  • standard HRIS integration and single sign-on
  • standard remote onboarding and admin training
  • results for teams of 5 or more people only. No individual score or answer is visible to the organization under any view
  • support within the agreed scope

What costs extra

Always shown as separate lines in a proposal:

  • Languages. English is included. Every other language is priced per language, for employee-facing screens (survey, dashboard, course library). Manager, HR and executive screens are English only for now.
  • Workshops. In person or virtual, priced per day. Travel at cost.
  • Premium service level. A contractual uptime target, response times by severity and service credits.
  • thrive insights™ add-on. Advanced analytics and custom reporting beyond standard reporting.
  • White-label branding. Employee-facing screens carry the customer's brand.
  • Custom reports. One-off reports built to a brief.
  • Participation pack. Launch videos, email sequence and manager scripts to raise response rates.
  • Non-standard integrations. Scoped per project.

What is not offered

  • No free trial and no free pilot. Where a pilot fits, it is priced from the group size and length.
  • No pricing that depends on results.
  • No individual-level data for any price.

Pilots

A scoped pilot suits larger organizations that want evidence before a full rollout. The fee follows the number of employees in the pilot and how many months it runs. It needs a named sponsor, success criteria agreed up front and a decision owner.

Questions to ask any vendor, including us

  • Is the price per invited employee or per respondent?
  • Which languages are included, and which screens are translated?
  • What does setup include at our size?
  • What happens to the rate at renewal?
  • Which add-ons are annual and which are one-off?
  • What is excluded from the contract?

What a proposal contains

A proposal states the number of invited employees, the offer route (one year, multi-year or pilot), the subscription total, setup fees, each priced option on its own line, what is excluded, and the contracted rate for the whole term. Rates are not changed inside a signed term.
